Good Friday indeed...


Marcus and Gabriel gave their lives to Him. Whoa!!!!!! Praise Him!

Day of mourning but also a day of fellowshipping. It's been some time since i met up with my brothers who went to NS to serve the nation. We went to the settlers cafe (a board game shop) and play for 3 hours. I should say that the price is quite alright compared to The Minds Cafe. SGD$2/hr qutie worth it what... right?

Went over to Parkway Parade BK for dinner and crewed on the tropical beef burger meal... i think Mushroom Swiss is better ya... hahah... ok here's a drama.... I gave a call to her but she didn't answer. Some time later she called me back. She told me she was going off soon and so I thought it would be alright to take a bus from Marine Parade and wait for her at Stirling Road to accompany her back home. Well, I took service 196 with William and then i received a wonderful sms - "i will be late...." the message goes on... She's still at Plaza Singapura SHOPPING! oh my goodness... I went to IKEA and browsed for some stuff which I was planning to buy for Reelway's shoot.

9.55pm - IKEA was making announcements sort of chasing customers out.. I made my way out and took a slow walk to the Stirling Road bus stop. On my mind i was thinking - "i'm accompanying you home. I've reached Queenstown... You know that and yet you are still SHOPPING?!" This alone got me really annoyed. I was thinking as I took my steps. What on earth is happening?!

10.20pm - Met her. Accompanied her home. Walked back to the bus stop. Took service 147 and headed home.

I was glad I didn't raise my voice at her. But deep in my heart i was stunned, completely lost for words. I didn't argue with her. After bathing, I choose to forgive and continued the phone conversation with her. What's wrong with me? Don't ask... I TGIF.

ST called me in the afternoon. Thank You ST for bringing such an opportunity for Reelway! Really... GV contacted ST for doing a video for a product innovation. I don't know what's that's all about. Seriously?! What on earth is it? But then, hope the person i/c is willing to meet us and we can discuss and close a good deal with her. With faith, I believe Reelway is gonna close a good deal. Praying for a SGD$2000 deal.

DILEMMA

This question has been on my mind for long. To shoot on film or video for my specialist project. Yes indeed, shooting on both formats bring about pros and cons equally. Shooting on 16mm film is definitely more expensive than shooting on SD (Standard Definition) DV formats. But another question which rises - can video enter a film festival?

All the questions put me in a dilemma. And only 1 out of 6 from Reelway Pictures have been posted to Advanced Film Production. Well well, the other 4 in Advanced Audio Post while the other is in Advanced CG. I mean i just find that the system is rather unfair. I just choose to keep my mouth shut. However, i believe He has a purpose for me in AAP (advanced audio post). I too believe that having 4 in the AAP stream will be more than beneficial in Reelway Pictures and for Hua Dan.

Prime Lenses... Prime Lenses... O my goodness... the photo on the left shows a P+S Technik Mini35 film lens body, mount and camera. I really pray so much that for Reelway Pictures Canon DV 2006 Shoot will be a successful and fruitful. So much so that He will bless us with the sponsors for Prime Lens system and a good camera, preferably a Sony HDV camera. Cool right the system?


I have been reflecting on the Rhema word that Ps. William gave during our tribe's first congregation meeting on the issue of Courtship. 3 years to get married after going steady... hmm... 1 thing which i heard from Him was to start saving $$$ from now. I choose to follow whatever my leaders say. Thank you Pastor!

I've been thinking about this girl. Not that I like her or something. It's just that somehow He revealed to me that she has gone too far from Him. She's been drifting for a very long time and He wants her back to His arms. When Jesus died on the cross for men, all sins were forgiven and in Christ there shall be no condemnation. For before Him, anyone who's willing to repent will definitely receive forgiveness and the gift of abundance will flow in her. So to this girl, i pray you'll get to see this and meditate, at the same time i urge you to stop whatever you're doing because it's unhealthy. I understand you don't feel you have a home. I was in your position and i can totally understand. Even till today my home is in Him and my spiritual family. Those 2 are then my true home cause i choose Him. I hope you will understand that people in the poor nations, esp those who suffered natural disasters, had no physical homes. They still continue their lives. These people had no Jesus but you have the gift of life. Remember... My heart really aches together with others who knows your heart condition.

The Meaning of Family

TGIF is coming. Well, i'm just looking very forward to the coming TGIF aka Thank God It's Friday. FCBC's harvest event is coming and i pray for people to come and see the wondrous works that God is wanting to plant into their lives. YOU may be one of them. FCBC is presenting a film titled "Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames" on 14th April 2006, Friday. Attached is the publicity poster. Pray that YOU will turn up!


I was late for service today due to oversleeping. Squeezed my way in during the middle of worship. For my last post i mentioned that i have recently been really down on my finances but hey, i was really touched by my spiritual family - my cell group. Brothers, thank you for helping me and i remember all your acts of kindness, love and brotherhood. Thank You Dennis Dad for being there for me and fathering me all times. To the Rice family, i love you guys. Thank God for such a family.

Went over to Signature Park for jogging. Pathetically, i ran only 2 rounds. standard dropped - DISAPPOINTMENT. haiz.. never mind, i shall try again till i regain my fitness level.

To end off, i have something to share from His word. Galatians 6: 1-10 (God's Word Version)
Gal 6:1 Brothers and sisters, if a person gets trapped by wrongdoing, those of you who are spiritual should help that person turn away from doing wrong. Do it in a gentle way. At the same time watch yourself so that you also are not tempted.
Gal 6:2 Help carry each other's burdens. In this way you will follow Christ's teachings.
Gal 6:3 So if any one of you thinks you're important when you're really not, you're only fooling yourself.
Gal 6:4 Each of you must examine your own actions. Then you can be proud of your own accomplishments without comparing yourself to others.
Gal 6:5 Assume your own responsibility.
Gal 6:6 The person who is taught God's word should share all good things with his teacher.
Gal 6:7 Make no mistake about this: You can never make a fool out of God. Whatever you plant is what you'll harvest.
Gal 6:8 If you plant in the soil of your corrupt nature, you will harvest destruction. But if you plant in the soil of your spiritual nature, you will harvest everlasting life.
Gal 6:9 We can't allow ourselves to get tired of living the right way. Certainly, each of us will receive everlasting life at the proper time, if we don't give up.
Gal 6:10 Whenever we have the opportunity, we have to do what is good for everyone, especially for the family of believers.

I believe that the above passage speaks to me about reaching out to the lost sheeps, reaching out to people around me who are waiting for me to serve them. Indeed there is still a long way for me to change myself for the better and to change myself even more so that i can fulfil the purposes of God. As a believer baptized by the Holy Spirit, I would definitely want to share the unconditional love from my God to the ones around me. I believe God wants me to reach out to mainly the friends from my UG.

To my 7 yrs of friend, you've been far and you've backslided, God does not condemn you. He is there waiting for you to return to His arms. My friend, this is what I feel God wants to tell you despite whatever you've been doing. I pray you'll accept His invitation to Easter Service.

What can i say about today?

Yes! Jinghan finally got her own a guitar. We went to Davis Music @ Peninsula Plaza and got one for approx SGD$130 and could see her shinning smile on her face.

Been down on $$$ these days. Well, instead of being able to save, somehow or rather I've been having problems with $$$. What's the prob? For me to find out la...

Went to Melville Park Condo with Jinghan to join her for Adeline's and Vivien's children's cell... I thought that was fun observing them. Kind of different from the kids in my cell. But I am proud to say that some of my boys have matured ever since i took them. Hallelujah!!! After the cell, I thought of saving up $$$ and so Jinghan and i suggested to walk from Melville PK to Simei MRT STN instead of taking a bus there. Good exercise indeed.... 10min....not too bad i guess..

Went back home after lazing around at Jinghan's home. Took a single deck bus 147 and confidently dropped a dollar coin while saying to the bus driver "90cents!" and proceeded to the further end of the bus. 147 stopped at the Singapore Poly bus stop and Mr Bus Driver approached me and asked to get down. He saw my blur expression and asked another "boy, do you have a student card?!" in mandrian. Stunned for a few seconds, Mr Francis Lim took out his wallet and pulled out his blue colour Ngee Ann Poly matriculation card halfway and the drvier replied "boy, next time show me your student card before paying" and walked off as if he made a mistake. The thing is, I am the one in the wrong. I guess he was tired and he mistook my matriculation card for a JC student pass.
